Kristofor Pavlov is Chief Economist at UniCredit Bulbank. He holds Master’s degrees in Economics from the University of National and World Economy in Sofia and the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, Scotland. His professional and academic interests focus on monetary policy, financial sector analysis and forecasting, as well as real estate market development. His career combines in-depth economic expertise with extensive hands-on management experience in the banking sector.
Before transitioning into his role as an economist, Kristofor Pavlov built an eleven-year career in banking, holding junior and mid-level management positions in two commercial banks. In 2002, he was appointed Member of the Management Board of DSK Bank, where he served for four years.
